SexHerald: Congratulations on the baby! When is the baby due?

Eva Angelina: It is due December 13. As far as I know, it’s a girl. On the first ultrasound, the doctors told us that the chances of it being a girl are good, but not to go shopping yet. So, we’re going to find out for sure soon.

SH: Are you looking forward to being a mom?

Angelina: I am. It’s such an exciting thing. It really truly is a miracle, just to know there’s a human being growing inside me, is absolutely insane. Just to know that my husband and I created this thing. Sooner or later it’s going to be walking around, talking to us. It’s just absolutely insane. [Laughs]

SH: Have you always loved kids?

Angelina: I’ve always loved kids. It’s always been in my plan to have children. There was even a time in my life when I felt like there was no man who was good enough to be the father of my child. I was even going to do the whole sperm bank thing. Screw men then! [Laughs] I’ll do it myself.

SH: I’m sure there would’ve been a lot of guys who would have been happy to donate their sperm?

Angelina: Yeah, I’ve already gotten a lot of messages on MySpace saying that they would have paid me to knock me up. I was like, “OK!” [Laughs]

SH: We will miss you. I know you’ll be back and doing stuff while you’re on hiatus. What sort of stuff will you be doing for fans while you’re away?

Angelina: Right now, I got a blog going up on Xcritics.com. I do that about once a week. I kind of talk to my fans as if I’m having a conversation. That’s my main thing. I want them to get to know me and what I’m dealing with right now. Even though I’m not going to the set every day like I used to, sex is still a very important thing in my life. [The blog] it’s kind of like, just my battles and stuff. Also, I am doing a whole new website. It’s going to be my actual official website. That’s in the negotiation process, and it’s taking a little bit longer than I thought. That’s going to be something I’m going to be working on towards the end of my pregnancy. I want to shoot some boy/girl scenes with my husband, and possibly some girl/girl scenes. Right now, I have all these plans and it’s all a matter of how I feel. Every day is a new day. So there are a couple of things that I’m working on.

Creatively, I like to be challenged a lot with my creativity. So I’m kind of working on, possibly writing some scripts. I’m working on one right now. Right now it’s a hobby, and hopefully in the future I can actually put that on film or video and have people watch it. That’s the adult stuff that I’m doing—movie scripts and storytelling. So it’ll be exciting to see where that goes. My main goal after having the baby is trying to get back into shape. Getting back out to shooting as quickly as possible.

SH: When you come back, will you only perform with your husband?

Angelina: No. I love him to death but I don’t think I could ever just perform with him. I came into this business because I enjoyed having sex with several different men. Eventually I’m sure I can commit myself to only having sex with him, but right now I love the business too much, and working with different people on an individual basis. That is still very much a part of me.

SH: I’m assuming the relationship is monogamous. You’ll have sex on set but at home it’s just the two of you.

Angelina: Exactly. At home behind the cameras, it’s just him and I. We respect each other. There’s no need to lie. It’s not like he doesn’t work. He shoots—not every day. He still gets his. [Laughs] I’m not able to have as much sex as I used to, but it’s a good relationship that we have when it comes to sex.

SH: You mentioned writing scripts. Is there anything else you’d like to do when you come back, such as directing or something else creatively?

Angelina: I’m an actress at heart. I started out doing mainstream, and I still want to do a lot of acting I can do in the business. I like playing different characters. That’s what I want to do. With these scripts, they’re written as me being one of the main characters. These scripts are like dream roles I would love to have, and to be able to touch every different type of character that I can.

SH: Before you announced your break, the past year and a half was all about Eva Angelina. You did have a big year. How would you describe the past year and a half you had, professionally?

Angelina: To be honest with you, I’ve been doing the same thing that I’ve done for the last six years. The only difference is that I’ve created this team, this backing for me. It definitely became a backbone of Eva Angelina. With the right ingredients, it seemed to just kind of fall into place and I finally got my recognition. I thank god Eli Cross gave me that movie role for Upload. If it wasn’t for that movie, I still would’ve done the same thing but I just got so much recognition from it. He just gave me such a great opportunity. Especially since I’m not a contract girl for SexZ Pictures, so for them to have given me such a big part, I’m very grateful. That was the only thing that was lacking. I didn’t have a big company to have my back. It’s just been an amazing year. Everything fell into place and all my hard work finally paid off.

SH: So it was more luck than actual planning? You didn’t have a mission statement saying, “I want to accomplish this, I want to accomplish that?”

Angelina: Every year I write a six-month-to-a-year plan. This year—I’ve been doing that for three or four years already—and this year, everything just kind of fell into place for me to accomplish all those goals that I had set out for myself. It was easier in the sense with the more opportunities for me, but at the same time I had put the same amount of work I had always put into my career.

SH: Are the glasses gone?

Angelina: I’m in a fight right now with a girlfriend trying to get my glasses back. I let her borrow them because she left her glasses on a train in London, and I let her borrow my glasses because she has the same prescription. She only had prescription sunglasses, so she couldn’t drive at night with her sunglasses. So I’m trying to get them back. It’s been two months and my contacts are killing me. No, they’re absolutely not gone. I switch because I get headaches from my glasses. But then I’ll also get headaches from my contacts so I’ll switch to glasses.

SH: I asked because I’ve noticed in the last several movies you’ve been in, you haven’t worn your glasses in them.

Angelina: To be honest with you, that was at the request of the director. The majority of the time I always wear my glasses. I come to set with my glasses on, they just ask me to take off my glasses. Mostly because of glares from the light, stuff like that. So, I’m having sex blind. [Laughs]

SH: Upload was obviously the biggest movie released last year. Was that the most challenging role you’ve played so far in your career?

Angelina: It was definitely the longest, in-depth role I ever had to play in a movie. They gave me an opportunity and I haven’t been given too many opportunities to shine in that way. I definitely enjoyed it. I loved it. Every moment of shooting that movie was amazing. I would do it again.

SH: Did you know it was going to be a huge movie when you signed on to play the lead?

Angelina: I read the script and I knew that a lot was going to go into it. I immediately trusted Eli Cross, the director, in pulling this movie off. There are only so many directors in this industry that could really pull it off. He’s such a great director with such an imagination. There was never a time when he yelled at anybody, he was never on a power trip. If you didn’t do something in the way that he envisioned it he would just tell you, and work with you. It was such a pleasure to work with him, and I’m not surprised at all that the movie became as big as it was at all.

SH: Eli has said you did an amazing job on Upload.

Angelina: He’s such a great person. I love him. When he gave me the first couple of scenes to go over during the audition, I felt I could relate to this character. My deviant side of my personality is very similar to the character I play. So it wasn’t that difficult to grab that side from within, because I just knew exactly where I stored it. It was definitely a role I enjoyed playing.

SH: Was Upload the first movie you did anal in?

Angelina: It was the first movie I did anal and my first DP scene. I did an anal for my website but it was never really shown on DVD. I definitely wanted to make this movie special in the sense of providing the audience and the fans with something they hadn’t seen before. That was my ultimate goal. I told that to Eli, immediately. That was my plan.

SH: When I interviewed you previously, you hadn’t done anal on film yet but you said you did do it in your personal life. Is that still true today?

Angelina: Oh yeah. With the scenes I have done to date, I’ll come home after doing an anal scene and tell my husband to just fuck me in the ass, because I’m ready, stretched out. [Laughs]

SH: So, your husband is the one who finishes you off?

Angelina: He finishes me off. He gives me the grand finale.

SH: Will this be a regular thing? You’ll be doing anal in all your movies?

Angelina: I don’t want to do it all the time and saturate the industry with my anal scenes. You can overshoot yourself really easily with that. I just don’t want to do it three times or four times a week like some people do because after anal and DPs, you’re going to have double anal and double vag. After that, how much more do you have left? So, I’m trying to create longevity in my career as possible.

SH: Speaking of longevity, how many more years as a performer do you feel you have left?

Angelina: I don’t want to leave performing in front of the camera until I’m 30 years old. And I know I’m not done having kids. There’s probably going to be a couple of more breaks in-between now and the time I’m done performing. So, I’m hoping that creates longevity. Just as long as people will watch me fuck! That’s the ultimate goal.

SH: Before the break, did you film any other big movies? Do you have anything coming out that we should expect and look out for?

Angelina: Zero Tolerance has come out with a new series where each girl basically starts off each scene with a solo. Then two girls come in and they do a threeway girl/girl scene. Then those two girls leave, and then a boy comes in. And they do a boy/girl scene. It continues on with these scenes, and basically it’s one long scene. It was actually the last thing I shot. That involved anal, DP. That’s going to be a big movie for me. I don’t know the name of it though, yet.

SH: Are you an exhibitionist?

Angelina: I definitely was and I definitely can be. But I tamed myself, and I blame it on the industry in a way too. It’s hard to explain. I’ve done crazier things off camera, and even before porn than I have in porn. Outside of porn I’m very, very mellow. I do crazy stuff now on camera and I don’t really need to do that at home. Before, it was the opposite. If the camera didn’t exist, I’d go crazy all the time. So I definitely was an exhibitionist and I can be. It depends on how sexy I feel. SH: What do you enjoy watching at home when you do watch porno?

Angelina: Absolutely. Nothing has changed. I have to really either not like you or automatically know that going into the scene, I do not know this person, but at the end of the day I will have no respect for them.
