SexHerald: Did you think you’d win Starlet of the Year at AVN? What went through your mind when your name was announced?

Bree Olson: I was crossing my fingers for it. I knew that there were a lot of girls that had been working really hard. I was hoping but I can’t say I was expecting it. But it was really nice. I was really happy. I started crying before as they were announcing the nominees and I’m like, “OK, I’m gonna cry if I do and cry if I don’t win. So I might as well start crying now.” [Laughs] So, I was crying even before I got up there.

SH: Were you nominated for any other AVNs?

Olson: I was nominated for quite a few things. I can’t remember all of them now. But the other one I won was for Best Anal sex scene.

SH: You’re really into anal sex?

SH: Why did you decide to sign with Adam & Eve?

Olson: Well I had gotten offers from a whole bunch of companies but I really took my time, and luckily for me I had a team of people that were by my side to help me go through and learn about each company, and see which one would be the most beneficial for me. Adam & Eve, they’re just wonderful. They work with me, they’re really laidback . . . we’re both creative, so we always come up with new ideas, and they’re always really concerned if I’m happy or not. SH: Before Adam & Eve, you did lots of gonzo work. Do you miss doing the harder stuff?

Olson: You know, I thought that I was gonna have to tame down my scenes once I started with Adam & Eve. The directors never gave me any advice of anything to do differently, so I kept doing what I usually do, and then I was curious to see if anything would be cut out of the first video that I did. So I watched it and to my surprise everything was still in there, and Adam & Eve really supports my sexual nature. So they really embrace it, and I love them for that. They always call me their nasty girl, so I’m the nasty one I guess. [Laughs]

Olson: Probably, overall, more hard probably.

Olson: I’m a permanent resident of Indiana. I’m like rarely in California anymore. I’m in Indiana right now. I’m probably in LA . . . it really depends. I’ve been in Indiana for a month and a half. Then I’ll go out and shoot for a week or two weeks, or I’ll fly out for a day or two if they have some kind of publicity party or something they may need me to do. But other than that, I’m here.

SH: You love Indiana? You think you’ll live there for the rest of your life?

Olson: I hated it before I had ever traveled. I was always like, “I’ve got to get out of this place. It’s horrible.” And then I started traveling, and I’m like “You know what? Home is not so bad after all.” When I first started working I shot so much, and it all just came so fast. I was never home and I just became so homesick, so now any chance I get to be home I’m like, “That’s where I want to be. I want to be home.” So I make it happen.

SH: What do you like most about LA?

Olson: What do I like most? That’s hard. [Laughs] If you asked me what I dislike, I could’ve rattled off a whole bunch of things. What do I like the most about LA? There’s definitely money to be made in LA. I guess I’d have to say that. The land of opportunity is Los Angeles. [Laughs]

SH: Are you interested in doing anything in porn besides just being a performer? Are you interested in doing anything behind the scenes?

Olson: I had someone ask me this before and my answer was, girls get in and they say they want to direct, they want to produce, and they basically just use porn as a stepping stone. Or they want to be a mainstream actress or whatever. Me, I’m happy fucking. I’m happy doing just that. If I just have the option of fucking the whole time . . . the only reason why I would want to direct my own movies is to probably just be able to fuck even more. [Laughs]

So I hope that’s what I can do and then I can have that degree just to fall back on.

SH: What field of medicine did you want to practice?

Olson: I wanted to be a plastic surgeon. My grand master plan was to go to med school and then take my practice out to Southern California.

SH: So you don’t really plan on making porn a really long career then?

Olson: Oh no. Maybe two or three more years, maybe. I like seeing young girls in porn. And I think that’s where porn should just concentrate on. I don’t want to be one of those girls 20 years from now like old, wrinkly and stuff. Like, “Hey, I’m still here.” Maybe you shouldn’t be. [Laughs]

SH: What big movies do you have coming up we can look forward to seeing you in?

Olson: The Surrender of O, and that is a sequel of the first O movie that Carmen Luvana had done. She was the main character in that one, and now I’m O in the second one. That was amazing. It was all about submission and being tied up, and all that. There are some really hot sex scenes and there are some really hot girls. It’s an amazing movie, with huge production. I can’t wait to see that one. I’m really proud of that. Also, Bree’s Beach Party. Like a cutesy beachy girl movie. And there’s really hot girls in that one and really great sex scenes.
