McQuade here. It's probably unfair of us to rate the the third episode of the Teacher’s Pet series without having seen the first two, but this particular episode seemed to suffer from the problem of focusing too much dramatic energy on character relationships, without making us actually care about any of the characters. Nagy felt the show's plot had no real purpose other than to give a cute but sleazy teacher the opportunity to fuck ambivalent hotties as often as possible.

We both found the dialogue to be a bit inexplicable at times (i.e. Chitose: “Do you hate me now Haru?” Haruhiko: “Not at all, after all, I’m the one who made you this way.” – following her getting wet from his teasing) and the voice acting was mediocre and uninspired, but passable. The translations seemed a little awkward sometimes, and Anime Hot Shots didn’t provide Subtitles or the original Japanese dialogue.

We both found the dialogue during the sex scenes to be pretty irritating. The women tell Haruhiko they want but don't want to have sex with him, that his huge cock feels wonderful but terrible, that they are elated and embarrassed, etc. etc. Haruhiko tells the women they are beautiful and dirty, that he knows they want it, that they shouldn't be ashamed of their jealousy for the others. And then there are occasional references to past and future indiscretions that seem to be related to the plot. Nagy said that every conversation seemed to hammer on the very unequal power dynamic between Haru and the ladies, which she didn’t find very sexy.

Regarding the animation, this one wasn’t spectacular, but it was certainly not bad. It had some fairly smooth and realistic movement during the sex scenes, and decent background designs. Haruhiko was done very well, but I do wish the animators hadn’t given every female character those sleepy/worried/scared/vulnerable eyes.

From an animation standpoint, the sex scenes were very well done, but again the plethora of “kinda consenting but maybe not really consenting” and “somewhat wishy-washy towards whether they want to be ravaged by giant animated man-meat or not” female characters was tiresome. There was an awful lot of “no…stop…” language from the women, as well as seemingly pained or worried facial expressions. I gather this would be exciting for control/non-consent fetishists, but for those of us that like the women to be enjoying themselves too, it definitely dampens the excitement.

We don't begrudge Teacher's Pet having more sex than plot; hentai is porn after all, but this just didn't do it for us. Overall, we both felt Teacher’s Pet Part 3 was inoffensive enough to let us get through it, but we have no interest in seeing 1, 2 or 4.
