The porno parodies keep on coming, getting more and more obscure and outrageous as they do so. Did we really need an XXX-rated parody of Seinfeld?
As the old classics, like The Munsters, Bewitched and The Brady Bunch, have already delivered rich pickings, porno producers are turning their attention towards modern classics like The Office, Friends and 30 Rock - pornographic versions of which will be hitting the shelves of your local adult store soon.
And amongst the new wave of ‘modern’ parodies comes ‘Scrubs: An XXX Parody.’
‘Scrubs XXX’ spoofs the popular medical sitcom (which seems to be on eternal rerun on Comedy Central at the moment.) ‘Sacred Heart Hospital’ is replaced with ‘Naked Heart’ and the familiar characters are similarly recast with slightly saucier names (crabby Doctor Cox, for example, becomes Doctor Cocks.)
But the overall concept of the show remains the same – opening with daydreaming Doctor JD (played by award-winning adult actor James Deen) wistfully conducting a voiceover then laments the fact that nobody at ‘Naked Heart’ seems to get laid anymore.
Through some fairly simplistic schemes, JD soon gets the familiar couples to start coupling – and most of the DVD is taken up with each of the characters sneaking off for some gurney-rattling sex.
It’s not particularly groundbreaking, but it’s an honest enough adaptation of the original show. Some parts are arguably even funnier than the sitcom on which it was based!
The sex, too, is filmed with sterling production values and features some truly steamy scenes (like Alexis Texas tonguing Joanna Angel’s asshole, all while James Deen fucks her hard and deep.)
The scenes are long, the narrative is short and the whole thing wraps up surprisingly quickly – but the bonus disc of behind-the-scenes footage and outtakes ultimately leaves the viewer as sated and satisfied as all the freshly-fucked patients and doctors of ‘Naked Heart Hospital.’
I’d recommend ‘Scrubs XXX’ for fans of the show, or couples looking for cute, unchallenging porn. The DVD’s crammed with bonus footage, the production values are high and ultimately, it’s a very kind parody of a popular show. There’s nothing groundbreaking here – but in many ways, the same can be said of Scrubs itself. Scrubs:AXXXParody
