Following her session of submissive sex, the beautiful Bree settles down with motherly porn legend Nina Hartley to discuss a growing itch her occasional bondage sessions just can’t scratch. Assuming the identity of the anonymous ‘O,’ Bree dutifully turns up on the doorstep of Nina’s mansion—handcuffed and panty-less. From there on, we get to watch her embark on a journey of sexual self-discovery that reveals the source of her submissive yearnings.

As you can imagine, bondage is the name of the game with The Surrender of O. From the moment the movie begins, it’s obvious that domination and submission are the overriding themes of each scene. Whether it’s whippings and spankings or latex and leather, if you like a little kink with your porn, the Surrender of O delivers in abundance.

Surrender of O is filmed beautifully, with the glossy, slick production values of high-end erotica and a host of instantly familiar adult entertainers performing onscreen. Veteran stunt-cocks Tommy Gunn and Evan Stone are the lucky recipients of most of the action – enthusiastically serviced by a bevy of familiar porn-starlets who look stunning on camera.

Nina Hartley, as the bondage matriarch, mostly just watches over her household of submissive girls, but she’s not afraid to ‘jump in’ and get her hands dirty when the scene calls for it. Considering she’s 50 this year, it’s awesome to see Nina still willing to go up against girls half her age – and the scene in which she fucks Bree with a strap-on is one of the hottest in the movie.

Surrender of O is sizzingly hot throughout – it instantly earned itself a place amongst my favorite porn films. It’s hard to pin down the exact element that makes it so hot, but much of that must be due to the movie’s star. Bree Olsen is a beautiful, fresh-faced ‘girl next door.’ With her big, doe-like eyes, it makes every one of her submissive scenes seem incredibly naughty (and, therefore, exciting!)

Presented as a two-disc DVD set, there’s more to Surrender of O than just the wonderful movie. There’s also a whole second disc crammed with bonus scenes, interviews with the stars and behind the scenes footage. Some of it, especially the interview with director Ernest Greene, is a little self-indulgent, but if more equals better than you certainly get your money’s worth from the added material.

Overall, Surrender of O is a very professional-looking movie with an attractive, enthusiastic cast. Although bondage and submission are the themes throughout each scene, it never feels threatening or too intense. In fact, it’s a wonderfully balanced production that would be perfect for couples looking for something kinky, but not too kinky, to enjoy together.
