Most porn directors, in an effort to shoot scenes as quickly as possible, are content to get a few people naked, put them in the producer's bachelor pad, and let a Parkinson's sufferer hold a handycam while they go at it for 20 minutes. Axel Braun, however, is not most porn directors. As his website (and Wikipedia page, which I'm pretty sure he wrote himself) proudly states, Braun is a member of MENSA, holds a Ph.D. in psychology, and—according to one quote on his site—discovered the G-spot.
Braun has become something of a minor phenomenon in the porn world for eschewing the handycam-and-floodlights school of porn making in favor of an actual visual style. Basically, this means Braun actually uses multiple camera angles, varied lighting, and actual sets, none of which would matter too much if the sex weren't good. But it is. Quite good, actually. The girls are all very hot (especially Faye Regan, who looks a bit like a pre-meltdown Lindsay Lohan), and they are very game in these scenes, which involve a lot of dick slapping, spitting, double entry, strap-ons, anal beads, and latex.
The video features five scenes. The first is a little face fucking and rough sex, starring the lovely Faye Regan. The second shows Jayme Langford sucking off three masked men as if her life depended on it. Next, we have some slightly disappointing guy-on-girl action that is saved by some anal beads and the humongous tits of Jennifer Dark. After that, there's a very nice lesbian scene with Daphne Rosen and Sunny Lane that features really excellent strap-on fucking and foot worship, not to mention some dynamite fishnets. Finally, we finish up with Amber Rayne fucking two guys at the same time. This scene is a real tour de force as she is penetrated simultaneously in pussy and ass.
Unlike many hardcore videos, Braun actually finds ways to add suspense and excitement to his scenes. For example, the first scene ends with a pretty unique twist: the guy refuses to cum on Faye Regan's face (despite her beseeching him to do so) and instead shoots his load all over the window. The lesbian scene between Daphne Rosen and Sunny Lane is a marvel of pacing, starting slow with shots of candles and making out, the scene slowly progresses to dildo insertion and then ramping up into full-blown strap-on pussy pounding. But rather than ending here, with what would seem to be the climax of the scene, Braun slows down again for some foot worship which transitions into a wonderful scissoring action, and finally concludes the way it began, with the girls tenderly kissing. This fantastic sense of pacing puts the scenes in Kink far above your average fare.
