Nacho Vidal's Fucking Shemales is composed of five scenes of trannies fucking and being fucked by men. This begs the question: Why does tranny porn so rarely feature shemale-on-girl action? It would seem like a natural match-up to exploit, given that shemale porn is largely consumed by heterosexual men. However, it is by far the rarest variety, being heavily outweighed by tranny-on-guy, and even tranny-on-tranny. While there's nothing wrong with the shemale-male pairing it does get a bit tiresome, and that's the biggest weakness of this video. Each scene progresses in exactly the same manner: first some kissing, then a little manual stimulation, followed by some sucking, then the guy fucks the shemale and finally the tranny fucks the guy.
The relative success of tranny porn almost always comes down to a fairly simple measure: the attractiveness of the shemales. I think that or most men, myself included, the ideal tranny is a beautiful girl who happens to have a dick rather than a vagina. Poor shemales fall into two categories: those who are still too masculine and those who are too artificial. The shemale is inherently an artificial creation. But we want to be made to believe that they are a natural phenomenon. Actual shemales always remain imperfect approximations of the platonic ideal of the shemale that exists in our minds. And if none of the ladyboys in Fucking Shemales comes very close to that ideal, they are at least well above average. Each has a very nice face (excluding Renata, who looks like an anorexic Joker), as well as reasonably appealing bodies. They generally lack the oppressively artificial look of all too many transsexuals, occasionally seducing us into believing in their naturalness, to forget for a moment that this person is "a woman who was once a man" and to believe that this is a person who has always been "a woman who happened to have a penis."
All five shemales have functioning penises, rather than those hormonally shrunken black sacks that hang from the pelvis of many trannies. This is significant for pragmatic reasons—they must use them to fuck, lest they renege on the video title's implicit promise—as well as for aesthetic reasons—those black sacks once again remind us of the shemale's origins in surgery and hormone intake and distract us from the illusion of naturalness. Of the shemales, Alana Ribeiro is the standout, offering a really exuberant performance that leads off the DVD with a 30+ minute marathon scene. Alana has very small, hormonally created breasts that nourish the illusion much better than the unrealistically "perfect" breasts of the other performers. Isabelly Ferraz also makes an impression. Her boobs are of the large and immovable variety, but she makes them work with a very appealing face and the sex is typically kinky but with a certain tenderness that is often lacking from this type of thing.
Each scene features extended foreplay, such as blowjobs, nipple sucking, that is actually gratifying rather than merely perfunctory. The performances by both the shemales and the guys are superb. They are very naturalistic, featuring quiet but intense orgasms that actually seem believable. Although it should be noted that everyone here speaks Spanish, so they may very well be calling each other names, but the impression I got was one of genuine affection. And it is this seemingly natural affection that ultimately makes up for Fucking Shemales' boilerplate design. FuckingShemales
