There’s a time and a place for everything in life.
Except sex, that is. And while we shouldn’t be planning on going at it in the produce aisle of Fairway while our neighbor looks on—probably—it is indeed time to loosen our tethers of inhibitions regarding “rules” of intimacy. And in a world where most of us love sex, but don’t always have all that much time for it, psychologist Joel D. Block of the North Shore Long Island Jewish Medical Center explores this quandary as he combines sexy hot scenarios with an array of tips for the ultimate quickie. The Art of the Quickie includes information, tips, humor, and lots of detailed photos of techniques, positions, and random wild location ideas.
Quickies are more than just quick sex, as the name implies. And while they are not always options, they are “damn necessary,” the author says. Good quickies, like good sex, require some effort and a little bit of artistry. With those factors in mind, though, Block says that hot sex can be had within time constraints just about anywhere, on any occasion. Whether you are a seasoned married couple too busy with kids or work to have leisurely sex, or those who live with too many people to have much alone time (cough, cough), quickies are a great option. They can also be a lot more fun if you put the work into it.
In a playful, fun tone, Block explains how the key to a good quickie is a woman learning to rev up to her orgasm faster, as men are already more programmed to be able to do that. This book contains guidelines that can teach a woman have an orgasm in less than five minutes. This ability will also alleviate a lot of her partner’s performance anxieties. Once the guidelines to a quicker orgasm for the woman is mastered, quickies can become even more fulfilling than long sessions, he says, because they usually involve having sex spontaneously, sometimes in a forbidden locale, with an added element of excitement.
Block’s goal in this work is to help his readers achieve faster, better orgasms anywhere, anytime. If you have that going for you, then to hell with the neighbor in the produce aisle. TheArtoftheQuickie
