The act of yoga has a way not so much of reminding me how potent hippie culture is among the general populace, but how my body is and shall fall apart in a matter of years for having forsaken such a practice, or so it would have me think. Regardless, yoga is popular and has a way of making itself useful in many situations in life, more so in basic bodily maintenance and sexual gratification though. Ms. Greaux is an accomplished yoga practitioner, masseuse and ballet dancer and serves as the primary voice and body for this book. Within these pages, she breaks down each basic yoga position and exercise and presents how such practices can improve your general well-being as well as your sexual performance.
The book seems to be directed at multiple levels of experience. Some positions can be done by any beginner while others are for the more seasoned, and more flexible. To add to that, the book is written in such a way that it does not exclude those who wouldn't consider themselves enthusiasts or technically knowledgeable; rather, Greaux is trying to reach the sexually curious, those open to improving their performance for their partners and themselves. Greaux offers concise results that the discipline and sensuality of yoga permits. She offers routines that improve the sexual stamina with better circulation and flexibility. She demonstrates these herself presenting her rather toned body and mind-spiraling flexibility which gives the reader—directed to women—a better idea of what they should do and what they can achieve. Some routines go with a partner which puts a greater emphasis on intimacy and well-being better than most clinical exercises. Positions list the health benefits as well as specific sexual acts in which they prove useful.
But what of the sex itself, you ask? That is referenced in the back of the book in a series of single illustrations and descriptions for such positions as "double triangle," "ying yang," "erotic froggie [sic]," "the conquest" and "oops, I dropped the soap!" Each act requires considerable knowledge of each other's stamina and a lot of flexibility. The book provides enough basic instruction and advice for a potentially awesome fuck session; of course, such heightened pleasure comes at the price of resilient discipline and consistency. In short, this is not really for those intimate with nothing more than the corpse pose.
