Randi Foxx presents Advanced Sex as an erotic guide to sex. As its title implies, it does not shy away from suggestions for how lovers can get “down and dirty.” Foxx illustrates somewhat unusual positions for those looking to liven up the mundane. With photos taken on an evenly bland background, the reader is drawn to the models in the photos. Their tastefully nude poses look somehow simple and sensual. At the start of the book, there is a quick reference thumbnail index of the various sexual positions. The author infuses the guide with clever and amusing names for the positions like, “The Stick Up” and “Surf’s Up.” Foxx gives this book an air of eroticism in its simple, straightforward tone.
The photos were excellent in illustrating the point of this work—somewhat reminiscent of The Joy of Sex in days gone by. It is not just a refresher course for those who have been out of the game for a while but is also an introduction to the more adventurous side of lovemaking. It is an opportunity to mentally investigate more daring positions if you’re still not brave enough to actually try them. Many of the positions are quite simple while many others require agility and strength.
This is a veritable Sex Bible for all interested in sex. This book excellently and tastefully shows the models in fun and explicit positions. When in flagrante delicto you want to be completely focused on the other person like never before. It encourages lovers to explore each other’s bodies and oil themselves up for slippery sensual fun.
In the hopes you have various furniture available to you, Foxx utilizes everything from a recliner to an office chair and a swivel stool. By using the various pieces of furniture, the author encourages us to explore outside the sheets. You can come out of the bedroom and look at the various furniture in you home. If creative enough, Randi Foxx certainly would be the catalyst for lovers to find their niche not just in comfort but also in finding positions and furniture suitable for them. If you’re going to try some of the more daring positions, however, you may want to tone up your arms and legs for those feats of agility.
These erotic and fun adventurous positions are for all lovers in whatever stage their relationship may be in. At the end of the book you are brought full circle in a sense. The book ends much the same way that it began, with an index of even more sexual positions. There are many more than the 99 the title proclaims; in fact, there are 200. I recommend this book to young lovers who are just starting out and to lovers who already know each other well and just want to spice up their love lives.
