Whether it’s lacey panties, sheer nylon stockings or a pair of tight, white briefs clinging to a toned tush, underwear is undeniably sexy. After all, that’s what made a million-dollar business out of Victoria’s Secret.
In Ultimate Undies, another edition to The Fetish Chest collection by Alyson books, editors Rachel Kramer Bussel and Christopher Pierce present thirty sexy stories centered on different aspects of underwear.
It’s an eclectic collection, with stories focusing on heterosexual couplings, lesbian and gay encounters, and a few that aren’t as easy to define. The stories vary in length and focus –a few last just a turn of the page, while others read for much longer.
But what every underwear-focused encounter remains consistent with is quality – Kramer Bussel and Christopher Pierce have done a terrific job putting together this collection because each story remains taut, tight and tantalizing.
The appeal of this collection will be to those with an underwear fetish – but even then it’s a tome to be dipped into intermittently, and with the clear understanding that not every story will push the right buttons. If one tale fails to tickle your fancy, however, it’s really no big thing to flip through a couple of page until you find one that does (and find it you inevitably will.)
They say you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but in this case the printing added to the overall proposition. With small margins, big print and packed pages, ‘Ultimate Undies’ gave a distinct impression of value while remaining discrete enough to read in public without much embarrassment.
My highlights included a story by Tenille Brown entitled ‘Things Between,’ which made up for in quivering anticipation what it lacked in explicit sex. ‘A Storm of Me’ by Joel A. Nichols was noteworthy as it was a more-or-less successful intermingling of science fiction and erotica – which for a lesser author would be a guaranteed recipe for disaster. Ultimately, though, it’s ‘Cross Dressing Confessions’ by Zach Addams that stands out – regaling the story of a heterosexual encounter that nevertheless encompasses underwear fetish and genderfuck all at the same time.
For open-minded folks with a fetish for undergarments, this is a great book to add to your collection and a neat collection of tales that will include many you’ll end up returning to again and again.
