Booze and SexHerald: Not Entirely a Match Made in Heaven but Close
SexHerald Staff
Why is there a Booze section on SexHerald? It seems as though every subheading on the site can’t independently stand from the universe of sex. Except booze. So, why do we exist? Perhaps it’s because sex is just better when you add a little alcohol. Or, maybe it’s because most of our readers wear both a beer gut and a hard-on.
I disagree.
Sex has forever been paired up with different stuff: sex and candy; Sex in the City; sex and rock n’ roll. But, nothing as commonly as sex and booze… for better or for worse.
SexHerald is the Adult Entertainment and News Authority, and we feel that alcohol is one of those pleasures adults should be able to enjoy in an intelligent and responsible way. And, we’re here to help.
That’s why we exist.
We want you to be able to visit our site as a guide through all things booze. We want to advise you on the premier scotches, vodkas, tequilas, etc. We will tell you which wine will go with a particular dish you prepared for that important date. You found out your boss likes beer, we’ll let you know how to impress him with an exotic brew.
That’s the truth. Booze can stand alone as its own individual adult pleasure. And sometimes, most of the time, when it gets grouped with sex, it’s thought of in a negative way. But, it doesn’t always have to be like that—it shouldn’t be—and that’s what we’re promoting.
In a lot of ways, booze and sex have a lot in common. They’re both wet. To be good at indulging in either, you need to have experience. They both come in a variety of flavors and packaging. Sometimes heavy, sometimes thin, sometimes you need a chaser, sometimes they make you sick. Sometimes, you can regret what you did with either. But when you use your head, the results can be exhilarating. And unfortunately—what some don’t realize—when put together, they can make each other better.
Remember that scene in Leaving Las Vegas where Nick Cage laps bourbon off of Elizabeth Shue’s breasts? Now forget that the movie is utterly depressing. Just remember that scene. It was incredibly sexy. It even became a fantasy of mine; at least, until he fell through that glass table.
Alcohol and sex are both social lubricants. Sometimes, it’s necessary to add a little bevvy in order to calm the nerves for romantic advance. It can help you try things you may not have explored before. Or, it can be nice to sip on some port after a long night with your newest lover.
Remember: always drink responsibly, mind other’s feelings and aim to lap bourbon off of Liz Shue’s breasts, metaphorically speaking.
