Welcome
to the Aphrodisiacs Section
Aphrodisiacs in various forms are used to arouse sexual excitement.
They can be visual (porn; sexy pictures), olfactory (the scent
of your lover; aromatherapy), demonstrative (the human touch;
the feel of a feather) and auditory (music; sex sounds; sexual
communication), as well as more tangible things like food,
alcohol, drugs, and pharmaceuticals.
All senses should be taken into account to lend themselves
to the libido. Each month in the Aphrodisiacs Section, we will
bring you ideas and knowledge which can demonstrate different
seduction techniques, help you boost your sex drive, and balance
your body in sexual favor.
We will always bring you an immensely credible source for
aphrodisiacs, explaining myths and folklore.
We will also
enumerate scientifically tested and historically proven methods,
and strive to expand your sexuality-based knowledge so you
can use what is readily available to make positive changes
in your sex-life.
The difference between real and false information is sometimes
indistinct, but with once you have the knowledge, you will
be able to make informed aphrodisiac choices and greatly improve
your sex-life. Whether hidden passions lay in taste buds,
tips of toes or anywhere (or everywhere) in between, we’ll
work to find your spot and satisfy it.
Some commonly recognized aphrodisiacs date back to ancient
civilizations. The lore of sex is passed on from generation
to generation. This proves that the human urge to learn about
and teach sexuality is inherently powerful. Aphrodisiacs
is just one entity of SexHerald that endeavors to consider
sex and sexuality from a sociological standpoint, illuminating
many dimensions of each aphrodisiac; from sensual to nourishing,
obvious to subtle, and from what you’ve heard about
to what you haven’t yet dreamt about.

Milk Does the Erection Good
Out of all the aphrodisiacs noted throughout history over a period of thousands of years, the one that has been singled out as having proven sexual-enhancing properties is good ole’ straight from the breast: mother’s milk! In a controlled study of healthy women aged 18 to 35, who were asked to apply pads laced with a combination of breast milk and underarm secretions collected from mothers who were exclusively nursing their newborns, it was noted that breastfeeding compounds increased sexual motivation by up to 24 percent. The research, which was conducted by the Institute for Mind and Biology at the University of Chicago, found that participants exposed to breastfeeding compounds had a 17 percent increase in sexual fantasies as compared with a 27 percent decline in the desire of women in the control group. This Ain’t No Easter Egg Hunt!
All life comes from the egg. In this vein, many cultures view the egg as containing the ability to instigate hot sex. Perhaps it is because of their role in continuing the life cycle, and their inherent cholesterol-rich legacy, which are the precursors to the sex hormones estrogen and testosterone. Regardless, painting Easter eggs is a waste of time when you could be gorging on them. Caviar, the tiny, slippery, grainy eggs harvested from select types of fish, have been purported to hold mystical powers of arousal. Beluga, sturgeon, ossetra, and sevruga are the most commonly consumed fish eggs by connoisseurs who can afford this luxury in pursuit of prolonging an intimate foray. Read Entire Article

Meat Your Mate
Strawberries, whipped cream, chocolate, and other sweets may be the most clichéd, overused aphrodisiacs gorged upon during Valentine’s Day. This year, how about treating your sweetheart to some hot, red, love meat? Through the ages, a variety of meats have gained aphrodisiac reputations. From wild game meats, exotic bird fare, to prized, hand-reared, sake-drinking livestock (Kobe beef), all meat has been revered to impart vigorous, potent male sexual energy. Because of their “bloodiness” and brilliant red coloring when raw, red meats such as beef, goat, buffalo, and venison are known to arouse ferocious passions. Read Entire Article
