Hey there leather daddies and leath-femmes, there’s a new toy in town just for you. The Leather Lover, Penthouse’s newest multispeed vibrator, is the classic missile-shaped vibe that’s sleek black plastic with a form fitting 100 percent leather sleeve. When you crack the Leather Lover out of its casing, that familiar smell is one of the first senses to awaken; and then, your sense of pleasure at fondling your new, rather nicely crafted leather vibrator. And finally, your sense of irony as you read that the leather is not to be used internally even though it is compatible with a harness which immediately evokes images of thrusting. *sigh* Too good to be true.
I would like to stress that one would definitely not want to use this toy internally; Penthouse is absolutely right. Though leather is a fantastic sensual turn-on, it is a porous turn-on, and between the surface and the seams, this would be a breeding ground for bacteria, so in this case, listen to the warning on the package! However, being that the Leather Lover has a broad enough base to fit into a harness, let’s talk about what you can do!
Your intrepid toy tester has taken it upon herself to delve into the murky depths of what one does with a hot harnessable vibe that’s designed to be un-delvable, and here’s what I found: The Leather Lover loves licks! That’s right, turn off the vibe function (unless you’re looking for an excuse to visit that hot dentist of yours) and allow yourself some hot leather suck-off action. The smell and taste of leather, especially in that iconic shape you know and possibly love, can be intoxicating! Additionally, the smooth leather surface may not lube up well, but its natural sleekness makes it a frontrunner in crevice stroking. Strap this lover in and rub it against the back and front door and you’re sure to please whoever’s home. However: Don’t get your lover too hot because getting this lethal leather love lasso out of your harness and out of its very tight-fitting sleeve when anything slippery could be on your hands is a tough task.
If you are one of those people that loves having every gadget, every Prince album, every marginal toy so that you can have an expansive collection of any one thing, the Leather Lover is a formidable and rare addition. However, if you’re looking for functionality over design, you may do better to send the Leather Lover packing.
