At one point, a long, long time ago, I used to think about sex toys in the same way I thought about manicures. Why spend money on something that I can just do myself? Every now and then, a really great sex toy comes along that shakes (or tickles, or vibrates) even the most devout working class among us. Maybe for Charlotte and for countless other women across the U.S., it was The Rabbit. For me? Topco’s Night Move: Embrace was my night in shining green rubber.
Strong in stature and somewhat complex in shape, the initially intimidating Night Moves will quickly move up the ranks of the toys tucked away in your nightstand. In supple, shimmering green and silver, Embrace drops all of the girly gimmicks and gives the honest promise to orgasm. And what more could a girl want from her flexible, phallic vibrator?
As the box promises that Embrace was developed by women for women, it seems to be at least someone’s dream penis. Between the appropriately shaped head and thick girth, the shaft is swirled to fit the other kind of female curves that deserve attention. The middle of the shaft bends for different positions, but this feature would be better explored with a partner since it doesn’t easily stay in place. The whisper-quiet vibrations are controlled by a dial on the bottom that goes from a soft tickle to a ferocious roar. Start off at low and kick your Night Moves into high gear during your climax to see stars. A fair warning, though: This is not a vibrator for amateurs. The Embrace measures in at a little over 7 inches long, but has a powerful enough vibrator for perfect clitoral stimulation.
A few setbacks to the green god occur in its construction. It is sometimes difficult to screw together the top section to the bottom part that holds the batteries. This makes for the occasional clunky adventure in your foreplay with the toy, but the bottom never falls off or comes apart during use. Make sure it’s screwed in properly or the buzzing is only sub par.
With a pending repression in our midst, sex toys could very well be one of the first pleasures to go. AA batteries are not included but you can save the extra cash by stealing from your TV’s remote control and manually changing the channels.
