Who doesn’t love a glass toy? I was eager to check out the latest addition to the Adam & Eve glass toy collection as this is the first glass finger sleeve that I’ve had. For starters, this is real glass, no plastic here. The finger sleeve comes in a small box and inside the box is a velvet-carrying pouch where you will find the finger sleeve. Once you take the finger sleeve out you will notice that it does weigh a bit, as glass tends to be heavy so it will be shatterproof.
Made of clear glass, the finger sleeve is 3 inches in length and 1 inch in width. There are seven red raised glass nubs on one side, five, which are large, and two that are smaller. At the top of the finger sleeve is a rounded additional glass nub.
I imagine the finger sleeve was made for a woman’s hand as the hole to insert a finger is not very wide, plus my fingers are pretty long but the sleeve stops at my knuckle. A one-size fit most (not all) is applicable here. Easy to wash and sterilize, I went to work.
It’s a lot of working using just a finger sleeve. It’s a lot of work using the finger sleeve with another toy. I found using the finger sleeve by myself less than fun. It was a lot more fun when I was on top of my partner and slipped it on for added clitoral stimulation. Just like me the finger sleeve did not fit onto my partner’s finger. Plus, if it did go down all the way on a finger, you couldn’t bend your finger.
I had a hard time getting the finger sleeve inside of me even when the sleeve wasn’t all the way on my finger. There were times when my finger sleeve fell off and I had to stop, go back and retrieve it and start all over again. This was a little distracting and prolonged any pleasure and/or orgasm I was going to have. The nubs do come in handy; I just wish it had more on all sides of the sleeve. Once inside, it would be nice to have the sensation all over versus just where they currently are located. As glass toys are to do, it did heat up to my body temperature, but that did make me sweat a bit more than I would have liked. If one hand sweats the other is going to as well, so if I had another toy in my hand, my grip was compromised.
What I did notice was that when I was wrapping up my use of the finger sleeve it was all fogged up! That’s when I realized that my hands were sweating and that some debris had been captured inside of the finger sleeve. I can only imagine that if I had tried hard to secure the finger sleeve on that I could have cut off circulation on my finger, so that goodness that didn’t happen!
As a “my first glass toy” the finger sleeve is great, but for those of us who are more seasoned with glass toys, it was a lot of work. It is portable and discrete, but functionality is a challenge. GlassFingerSleeve
