Sometimes sex toys are more important in your life than others. You go months, even years (although I don’t advise it), without a special something in your nightstand. There are different reasons for this sexual abomination. Maybe you have a lover that doesn’t find them necessary (poor them). Sometimes the barrier to entry (pun intended) to owning your own toy is the fear of shady websites stealing credit card numbers or the intimidation of going into a sex toy store. Or maybe, like my friend, we’ll call her “Kitty” for anonymity, and her boyfriend were going through a breakup and she had not had sex in over nine, count them, NINE months. Poor Kitty.

The name says it all. Its discreetness allows you to throw it in your purse with no worry of embarrassment and it’s small enough that it could fit in the palm of your hand. The curving was tailored to be the yin to your clitoral yang. The little guy looks sturdy and made to last, and for the most part it seems water resistant, making washing a breeze. A bonus with this vibe is that not only can it stimulate your special spots but it can be used to relax any area of any body that may need a good, deep massage.
The Discreet Curve Vibe looked to be the ideal starter for any novice sex toy collector. So in the spirit of giving, and wanting to pay it forward sexually, why not let someone that hasn’t gotten a clit shakedown in a while give the vibe a go? Kitty enthusiastically took the toy home with my lengthy questionnaire and immediately stopped off to buy the not-included batteries. She was a kitty on a mission.
Using it in the traditional back-down, tits-up position she somewhat enjoyed the highest speed calling it “workable” and describing the lowest speed out of three the “big suck.” She thought the buttons were easy to adjust and enjoyed the aesthetics of the Discreet Vibe. When Kitty was asked if it made her get her rocks off, she said “No. But it was cute and fun and then a real penis was inserted into my vadge and that did the trick.” We are glad to see Kitty dating again. She has used the Vibe several times but complains that the highest setting just isn’t the clit quake she needs to make her purr but thought it was cute, simple, and sweet. Sometimes that is the best gateway toy, nothing too overbearing or intimidating. All and all, she awarded the Discreet Vibe 2.5 out of 5 kitties. Meow.
