The life of a sex toy is filled with darkness and anticipation. The great part of its existence is spent in the infamous toy drawer, by the bed or hidden deep within the secret corners of a closet. Each toy is just waiting for its moment to shine, to prove its worth, to be used. I can just imagine all the toys within the confines of the drawer-prison, spending their free-time fighting a popularity contest. The popularity of a toy of course depends on how often it is used. Some toys are handicapped in this pageant from the onset. For instance, some are only useful with a partner, others are best in water; some depend on the particular sex of the user and so on. Only the truly versatile toy has a sure fighting chance.
This is why I am casting my vote for Bree Olson's Glitter Glam Strap-On Harness & Dong, by Topco Sales. Yes, that is certainly a mouth full (pun fully intent ended). The "dong" is not fashioned to resemble any of Bree's organs, and bares her name purely for marketing purposes. But to me, as a female consumer, the words "glitter" and "glam" were the truly eye-catching bits of this unnecessarily long product title. Marketing tactics aside, the Glitter Glam is an incredibly versatile toy. And, since it's already shiny and fabulous, it is a well-deserved lead of the sex-drawer popularity contest.
The Glitter Glam can be used as a dildo or a strap on. It is has a very attractive design. If you're not in the mood for realism, the translucent jelly phallus that sparkles all the way through with glitter is as spectacular as it gets. The texture is neither slippery nor sticky and slides very well even with minimal amount of lubrication. The base has a pair of truncated testicles, which enhances sensation for the receiver when used as a strap-on, or acts as a great handle when used in solitary. Glam's true versatility comes in its hands-free feature. The suction base is meant to stick the dildo to a wall, mirror, or if you want to be boring, the floor. Thus, the Glam allows you to be a very active or very un-involved user. To be honest, if used for doggy-style action, the suction power only lasts for a couple strong thrusts before your have to stick it back to the wall. However, if you take it easy, and attach to a smooth surface, like a mirror, the experience is very engaging.
As a strap-on the Glitter Glam is slightly above average. Its size and texture make it ideal for both vaginal and anal penetration. The harness, which is purple to match, holds the dildo tight in place. The harness is easy to fit and adjust, and can be made as small and tight as necessary. The side straps that go across the hips are made of a rough material however, and will chaff if worn on naked flesh. This minor discomfort however, is easily ignored during the thick of the action, which thanks to all the other wonderful aspect of the Glam has sensational potential. Another great feature of the Glam that must be mentioned is its price, the Glam retails in the range of $25. The Glam's reasonable price tag combined with versatility rather good attributes, easily upgrade the Glam from "quite nice" to "well-above-average.”
