Your lover has been tied up with meetings all week. But now it’s
Saturday night, and tied up takes on a different meaning. You’ll
do the tying or, in this case, the Velcro-ing.
Made of soft, black neoprene, Bound To Please is a pair of Velcro-fastening
cuffs that can be adjusted to shackle either the ankles or the wrists.
For a nice, submissive visual, I recommend clipping your lover’s
wrist to his opposite ankle and taking pictures. I don’t recommend
fucking the shit out of him. These cuffs won’t hold up to aggressive
manhandling; they are not serious bondage gear.
Bound To Please is perfect for those who enjoy their bondage on
the light side and mostly as a titillating fantasy. The Velcro holds,
but not as well as police handcuffs or plain old rope, tied Sorayama-style.
And the nylon straps, though comfortable, lack the dark, dangerous
pizzazz of leather. There is also a built-in quick disconnect—much
like the snap on a lifejacket—which allows your lover to break
the scene without your permission. This feature is unnecessary and—I
must admit—somewhat sad. Trust, not plastic safety devices,
is the key to any relationship where constraints are involved.
Still, if bondage is your desired destination, Bound To Please is
a tentative, sexy step in the right direction. And if you buy two
sets—four cuffs—you’ll be spread-eagling and hog
