What’s rippled, waterproof and green all over? Adam and Eve’s new addition to their rubber toys, the Sensafirm Ripple Probe. Call me silly, but the first thing I think about when I hear the word “probe” are cases of alien/UFO abductions. Somebody always survives to tell about the probing. This time, I was doing and receiving the probing and I’ve lived to tell about it too!
Sensafirm is a form of rubber and is porous. That means that if you want this toy to last, it is in your best interest to treat it well. Treating it well includes considering using a condom when using the toy, cleaning it properly after each use, and using only water-based lubricants when in use. Now that you know how to treat the toy, here’s how you can expect it to treat you: fairly well.
Once you get over the smell of rubber which is pretty potent, you’ll notice that the probe is a pretty good shape. The texture of Sensafirm is firm, hence the name, but is also a bit flexible. The toy is heavier than other dildos but the entire toy is of the same density in that if you hold it upright it doesn’t sway and if you strap it on it doesn’t exactly fall. At 6½ inches in length and 2 inches at its widest part, that’s a pretty solid probe.
The droplets that make up the ripples in the probe begin at about the size of a quarter and gradually increase up to 2 inches. The base of the probe is the only area where there is a “two-tone” effect in that there are two knobs at both ends that are black. I thought these two knobs would help the probe sit upright on a flat surface, but it does not. Instead, it helps you keep a firm grip on the probe as you use it to penetrate yourself or your partner.
Putting the probe in action was pretty stress-free. The length is good for solo play and that’s how I got acquainted with it. The size is good also for condom use as the condom fits fairly well and extends all the way down to the base (and over) of the toy. There are some times when you really want to feel a smooth texture inside of you, because that is pretty much how most hands, tongues and penis feel. Then there are times when you want something that is a little more unpredictable. When you never know when a certain spot will be hit and how frequently and with what force, that’s when this toy comes in handy. Adam&EveSensaFirmRippleProbe
