My first reaction to this toy was a good laugh. Not just a chuckle, but an outright laugh at the curving green palm tree-shaped dildo with a yellow, vibrating pineapple clit stimulator. It was the pineapple that really got me, I think. The thing just looks hilarious. But in that amusement, there was also intrigue: Could this toy “press my deepest button,” as it claimed on the packaging? The answer, happily, was a resounding yes.
Constructed of flexible, but sturdy material, the Tropical G Pineapple is not battery-operated on its own, but rather includes a One Touch Mini Love Bullet that can be inserted in the pineapple at the base of the palm tree shaft to provide additional vibration if desired. The optional vibrator takes 3 AG13 batteries, six of which are included in the package, so you can open it up and get going! I found that the connection in the Mini Love Bullet was a little faulty, which caused the vibrator to turn on without warning (or without being touched), but once it was on, it did stay on. It does only include one setting (a pretty middle-of-the-road intensity), but if you have another small vibrator that will fit into the Tropical G Pineapple’s opening, you could easily use that instead if you want more or less vibration. The whole thing is waterproof, including the Mini Love Bullet, so you can use in the shower or tub and pretend you’re under a tropical waterfall to really get into the spirit of things.
The suction cup base sticks to many surfaces (such as your tub), but in my little bathroom, I wasn’t able to get the angles right to really give this feature the old college try. However, it didn’t detract from using the toy elsewhere. Additionally, the Tropical G Pineapple is harness-compatible for two-player games. You’ll want to lube up first, though.
As for the design, the ridges on the palm tree shaft are not just authentic tropical touches – if you’re a fan of ribbed toys or condoms, they’re the bigger, stronger brother of those little guys. The additional sensation they provide makes playing with this toy extra pleasurable. And the curved shaft with its leafy tip hits all the right spots. But the best feature here is the vibrating pineapple, the source of all my mirth upon seeing it. Even without the optional vibrator, the pineapple clit stimulator really upped the value of this toy for me. And because it has a flared end, you could easily work this into anal play, though I’m not sure whether the pineapple would be a benefit or a drawback there. If you’re looking for both, you could get the companion toy, the Tropical G Wave (blue, with a dolphin or some other aquatic animal providing clit stimulation) so you could tell them apart!
All in all, this is a fun toy that can bring a little taste of the tropics into your life any time of the year. Have a couple of pina coladas and try it out. Adam&EveEdenTropicalGPineapple
