Anyone with a vagina—and probably even those without—knows the Rabbit. It's a brand of sex toy that's part of everyone's vibrator vernacular whether they've seen it on a Sex and the City rerun, caught a glimpse of it in their girlfriend's bedroom, or heard its virtues extolled by a friend whose many orgasmic trysts with the contraption has made her yet another diehard fan. Adam & Eve's Eden Hummingbird Blossom Vibrator may look like a mini, friendly version of the beloved bunny, but what it copies in design, it lacks in execution. And that's all that really matters in matters of masturbation.
Adorable but deceiving, the vibrator stands at 6 inches long, but don't get too excited! Only about 4 inches are usable unless you want to be in some serious pain. The biggest problem with Adam & Eve's cute as a button vibrator is that it doesn't feel nearly as good as it looks. Its shaft is molded to look like a rose stem leading up to the blossom at the top. But before we talk about the hidden wonders in the thorny (a better option than the usual veiny!) shaft, the reason why Eden's Hummingbird Blossom isn't going to make you scream and beg for mercy by simple insertion is the little birdy stemming from the bottom. The best piece of advice I can give you when firing up this little bud is not to use it like you would its floppy-eared friend by lubing up the flower and stem and using the hummingbird to massage your clit into oblivion. The one AAA battery isn't enough to power true vibrations in the beak so the winged creature does nothing more than poke you. And that's not nearly as good as it sounds.
But besides the awkward middle-school style fumbling, there's some hidden pleasures budding in the blossom at the top. Forget the bird; it's all about the rose for stimulating your clitoris. From the tiny bud at the top, to the many petals at the head, down the entire length of the bumpy stem, sliding it in and up and down, that's the way to get to your blissful garden of Eden. So call in the reinforcements to get this job done: fingers; a friendly tongue; another heftier plastic battery-powered toy. While the Eden Hummingbird Blossom may only help harvest your sweet nectar, it's a good start in your self-loving. And if you work hard enough, an end as well.
