Topco’s 3-way Thriller certainly looks impressive: mint green (an interesting choice but somehow it works), with three vaguely alien-looking arms protruding from the center like a Venusian pleasure device. And once you pick it up, it feels impressive—the CyberSkin construction is at once soft yet resistant, the closest thing the sex toy industry has been able to come up with to real human skin. Bending the Thriller will further impress you: Inside the soft outside lurks a clicking “bone” structure that allows you to bend and shape the toy into a number of positions to best satisfy you or your pal(s).
But like communism and open relationships, the 3-way Thriller is really a gadget that works better in theory than in practice. This is not to say that it’s a useless toy—just that to call it “3-way” is something of a misnomer. With (ostensibly) three ways to play – dildo, clit stimulator and anal plug – you would think that they could all be used simultaneously on one person. Not so. And believe me, I tried. I really did. But the useful bending mechanism inside does have a point at which you can no longer bend it, and the angles required for a double-penetration scenario are just not physically possible with this toy. I tried so hard, in fact, that I completely split the toy open, exposing the inner workings.
This could be a mark against it, but truthfully, I blame myself. Someone less persistent would probably realize the limitations of the Thriller and give up before breaking it. And even though you can’t use all three arms at the same time on solo missions, I’d still recommend it as a regular dildo, or for partner play as a double-ended deal. The shaft of the dildo is smooth and soft, and adequately sized without going overboard. The clicking “bones” inside the toy allow you to shape it to stimulate the right places – I thought they wouldn’t stay in place when I gave the shaft a good curve, but they held the shape admirably. Additionally, the attached clit stimulator, an attached arm rather than just nubby things at the base of the shaft, is very effective (though it looks a little weird). The anal portion, like a stylized Christmas tree, is small enough for novices; more experienced butt players might need something heftier. Additionally, the anal arm can serve as a convenient “handle” for the dildo/clit stimulator portion.
Overall, if you’re planning to use this toy solo, you’re probably better off getting separate items for vaginal and anal play, but with a partner, this can be a fun addition to your romps. Obviously, be clean and safe – condoms are probably the easiest way to go – and be aware of how to care for and store CyberSkin. (Washing with mild soap and water and storing in a plastic bag with cornstarch – not talcum powder is recommended.) Good luck, and have fun! CyberSkin3-WayThriller Adam&EveCyberSkin3-WayThriller
