Guys were outdone on two different tests in a study conducted by the Monell Chemical Senses Center. Women were both more adept at sniffing out human odors and also have an easier time covering their own.
The Center asked men and women to smell vials of human sweat. When the sweat was mixed with other fragrances, women could still smell human odor most of the time, whereas men were left in the nasal dark.
Additionally, whether men or women were doing the smelling, many fragrances successfully covered the scent of female sweat, while only a handful were able to cover that of male sweat. WomenBeatMenbyaNose
