Veterinary Students Avoid Sex; Med School Picks up the Slack
01/29/08
By SexHerald Staff

Medical school is steeped in promiscuity at Cambridge University.  According to a survey conducted by the university’s Varsity magazine, med school students have had an average of at least eight sexual partners.  Varsity had over 1,000 students respond to the detailed online sex survey. The published results outline the findings and show that three of the four colleges with the most sexual experience rank the lowest, academically.

Following behind the medical students are the political science and history majors with seven and six partners, respectively. Near the bottom of the list are math students, 41 percent of whom are virgins. Still, they have beaten out the veterinary medicine students who have only had an average of 1.8 sexual partners, which might explain why they want to spend their days around animals instead of people.

To the shame of the kinky medical students, the survey also revealed that 61 percent of students have never had an STD test, even though 44 percent of them admitted to having a one-night stand. Furthermore, 5 percent of students said they have had an STD, when the national average is estimated to be approximately one third of the population.
