The Science Museum’s adult annex conducted a series of programs investigating gender, sexuality, and homosexual desire at the Dana Center, a partnership between the British Association from the Advancement of Science, the European Dana Alliance for the Brian and the Science Museum.
The goal was to organize events concerning current science, specifically through a cultural perspective. The centre is in the newly built Wellcome Wolfson Building which includes an adult café and high-tech digital capabilities linking the center and its programs with other venues across the United Kingdom. There was no cost for the events.
The event was hosted by Ingo Anderson from London’s first Transgender club, Club Wotever along a whole host of gender experts from Polly Carmichael Consultant Clinical Psychologist to Vickie Pasterski a Researcher at City University London, who addressed prenatal androgen exposure and sex development.
