Measure Consumer Perspectives, a market research company using mystery shoppers, has conducted a survey on sex shops to find: the overwhelming majority of chain retailers are clean and maintained by friendly employees.

All surveyed stores, including Adam and Eve, Babeland, Good Vibrations, and Lion’s Den, were well organized, and 91 percent of employees were polite. Most employees offered assistance within two-and-half minutes, and 73 percent were considered knowledgeable.

Some hope that this assessment will reduce criticism of adult shops for “secondary adverse affects.”
