Airlines are continuing to fight over passengers, but a German company has started to target a new niche. On July 5, passengers on German airline OssiUrlaub can fly nude to their Usedom resort on the Baltic Sea.
For 499 Euros ($740), the airline’s naturist (or “Free Body Culture” as they’re known in Germany) customers can disrobe as soon as they step foot on the plane. Usedom is a hot spot for naturist travelers. Nearly all the resorts on the island have official nude beaches and clothing is optional in many businesses.
OssiUrlaub received customer requests for a naturist flight option to the island, and the company decided to offer a 55-seat trial flight in response. A company spokesperson said that the airline staff will remain clothed throughout the flight, and maintained that the airline is not trying to start an airborne sex venue. NudistVacationsBeginEarly
