The Toronto Sun released its top 50 sexiest stars and named Madonna as its number one choice, beating out legendary sexpot Marilyn Monroe.

The newspaper’s reason for giving that special title to Madonna was for her ability to use her sexual image to keep the world guessing, while retaining her sales. She recently beat out Britney Spears as the world’s highest paid female singer. Being sexually provocative does pay.

The top 10 listed from one to 10 are as follows: Madonna, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, Sophia Loren, the Beatles, Brad Pitt, Mick Jagger, Bridgitte Bardot, Farrah Fawcett and Robert Redford.
