Popular late-night host Conan O’Brien has caused a stir in the porn industry, namely with the director and producers of gay porn video Feed the Bears. In a gag designed to promote Adam Sandler’s latest movie, the show aired an unauthorized clip from the porn.

The company that produced the video, CyberBears, is upset at the potential copyright infringement and violation of distribution laws.

“All of our DVDs clearly indicate that they are only licensed and sold for in-home viewing by consenting adults. The notion of broadcasting a portion of one of our adult movies over open network television violates the spirit of legal and ethical guidelines our company follows to shield our content from inappropriate viewers,” said a spokesman for CyberBears.

The company is also shocked at NBC’s disregard for clearing the airing of the clip before giving “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” the go-ahead.
