The dentist’s chair is a horrifying place, with so many drills and scrapers, rubber gloves in your mouth, and those strange little mirrors on a stick. It’s easily one of the tensest places on the planet, but “Aiko” is helping her clients loosen up a little bit. 

Aiko is a 19-year-old dental assistant in Japan, where the competition between clinics is fierce. Only the dentists with the softest touch and the nicest facilities are able to attract the clientele needed to stay in business. But Aiko presents a whole new tactic for getting repeat business. 

Sometimes the wait for the doctor can take up to an hour, sitting in that awful chair, staring at the ceiling… so Aiko makes her proposition. For 10,000 Yen ($100), she’ll give her patient a handjob—and tell him to bring some extra cash the next time he comes in, too! Considering she only makes about $8.00 an hour, Aiko feels that she has found a fine way to supplement her own income while adding to the business of the clinic. 

Aiko claims that the dentist doesn’t know what she’s doing—and if he did, he probably wouldn’t fire her because of all the repeat business she brings in. And if he does, she boasts, she can find another job easily because dental assistants in Japan only need the equivalent of a junior high education. Regardless, Aiko probably provides the most enjoyable part of ANY visit to the dentist.
