The San Francisco Bay area’s Exotic Erotic Ball is coming to New York City’s pier 94 June 16 and 17 for the first time. The Ball has been happening in San Francisco for 26 years and features adult entertainment of all sorts, exotic dancers, live music, a costume contests with over 10 grand to be won in prize money as well as an expo with over 100 exhibits. George Clinton will be performing along with Tommy Lee, and you can expect to see a whole host of adult film stars as well.
Over the last 25 years, the Ball has evolved from local shindig to a renowned event across the world as a symbol of sexual liberty. The Ball was first held 1979, organized by Parry Mann in order to support the campaign of the late Louis Abolafia who ran for president under the Nudist Party. Since then, it has been attended by more than a quarter of a million people and has included guests like Glace Jones, Joan Jett and Ron Jeremy.
In 2005, the expo awarded Larry Flint, the Hustler mogul, with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his fight to protect First amendment rights and personal social freedoms. There have been many requests to have the Ball brought to the East Coast and to have a Ball during the spring and it is finally happening this year.
The Expo will include the latest in erotic and exotic fashion, erotic artworks, “adult products,” along with countless other attractions. The Expo opens Friday the 16th at 2 p.m. till 10 p.m. and the 17th from noon to 6 it will also be open to trade only for two hours staring at noon on the 16th and at 10 a.m. on the 17th. There will be a panel discussion on First Amendment rights featuring adult media and special guests as well as a chance to participate in a wine tasting alongside adult film stars and even a human petting zoo.
