Chemical Warfare Plays for Both Teams
06/13/07
By Anna Kent

Pentagon officials recently confirmed the military's consideration of using chemical warfare in building a "gay bomb." The proposal was uncovered by the Berkeley Sunshine Project.

The original proposal sought to utilize strong aphrodisiacs and to finance researching a hormone that could have the effect of causing homosexual behavior. The desired result would be an enemy force more interested in having sex with one another than fighting their opponents. The proposal was seriously considered by the Air Force and in 1994 they asked for $7.5 million to develop the weapon.

The proposal was developed in the Wright Laboratory in Dayton, Ohio in an effort to develop more non-lethal weapons. The Department of Defense claims the notion to build the "gay bomb" was rejected by the military shortly after it was produced.
