A New Trend in Fitness May Improve Sex Lives
07/31/07
By SexHerald Staff

An intricate system of ropes, pulleys and weights known as the Gyrotonic Expansion System has finally broken into the popular market a full 25 years after its invention. Not only is the system becoming a popular way to get a toned body, it may also be a way to experience intensified orgasms.

The system is designed to combine the effects of yoga, ballet, swimming and a handful of other exercises. It now seems to incorporate the workout of an orgasm as well. Gyrotonic instructor Ted Henigson vouches for the near-orgasm inducing workout: “You can see it in people's faces. There's no orgasm, but the experience is definitely akin to a sexual peak.”

The machine is a design riddled with straps and pulleys in which the person working toward a more fit and trim body is held. In order to perform the workout, the person must employ fierce concentration as well as a physical effort. The combination of meditation and physical concentration is what Henigson finds comparable to sex.

“It becomes about meditation in motion,” Henigson says, “requiring presence, attention and concentration—all components of an excellent sex life.”
